Port Colborne is the southern gateway to the Welland Canals Recreation Trail. Enjoy a leisurely ride, a vigorous walk or a smooth glide on the 7.5KM of paved path. From HH Knoll-Lakeview Park on Lake Erie, extending north via West Street, Lock 8 Park, and Mud Lake Conservation Area to the Welland city boundary. Maps and interpretative signs explaining the history of Port Colborne and the Welland Canal have been placed along the route.
